The Reef Tank

I have been reading The Reef Tank for quite a while now and I think it’s time to tell a little about this website. There is a lot of good reading for the saltwater enthusiastic and also some good information about freshwater aquariums (but it’s mostly saltwater).

When it’s time to share your passion or find answers to your questions, The The Reef Tank Forum has everything you need. There is currently over 27 000 aquarists registered to the forum and over 1.5M posts. I find what I am looking for every time I visit this forum!

The Reef Tank is not only a forum, it’s also a blog (and a great one). The Blog is updated almost everyday with great articles about various topic such as the environment, reef keeping, maintenance tips, news from the industry, stories, etc. I visit the blog often and always enjoy the reading.

Their Photo Gallery is another great feature. Pictures are awesome and are divided by category to make it easier to find what you’re looking for. My favourite category is the Calendar Submission. Some of their members know how to use a camera that’s for sure! That makes me want to buy their calendar (I assume the best pictures are in it). Talking about their calendar, it is available for sale on The Reef Tank.

One thing I haven’t try yet is the Comparison Shopping tool. It allows you to view prices from many stores for each item. I am sure there is some money to save with this and I might give it a try next time I buy online.

With that many features and information, The Reef Tank has everything saltwater aquarists need to be successful.
