Aggressiveness: Semi-aggressive. Generally only gets aggressive with other clownfish.
Reef Compatibility: Excellent
Distribution: Western Pacific: Ryukyu Islands, China, Viet Nam, Taiwan, Gulf of Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, Australia, New Guinea, New Britain, and Solomon Islands.
Diet: Omnivore. Will eat most kinds of marine food including live foods such as krill and flake. A varied diet including frozen foods will help to ensure health.

Additional information:
The Saddleback Anemonefish, also known as Saddleback Clownfish or Brown Saddle Clown is native to the Western Pacific where it can be found is lagoon and harbors. This species is found in nature associated with the anemone: Heteractis sp and Stichodactyla sp, Macrodactyla sp and Entacmaea sp.
The Saddleback Anemonefish as excellent for the reef aquarium and is a very hardy and durable fish making it a perfect fish for the novice or seasoned aquarist.

The The Saddleback Anemonefish has the typical oval Clownfish shape. The body color can bary from orange to black. The pattern of white bars can also vary. It has a large white stripe from the forehead to the chest, and white patches on the back, saddle, and tips of the tail. It can be distinguished by this third large white patch on its doral area. It has the most distinct swimming motion, which is an up and down bobbing motion.
Like other Clownfish, the Pink Skunk Anemonefish is protandrous hermaphroditic. If the female dies or disappears, the male will become the new female and another sexually immature specimen will quickly develop into a reproductive male.

The aquarium should be at least 30 gallon in size with many hiding places. Ideally, an anemone should be present but it can do without. If an anemone is include, it will generally stay at less than 5″ from it. Water temperature should be at 73.4°F-78.8°F, specific gravity at 1.020-1.025 and pH between 8.1 and 8.4.
