Common names: Caerulean damsel
Family: Pomacentridae
Order: Perciformes
Class: Actinopterygii
Maximum length: 3.93 in.
Minimum tank size: 25 gallons for one, 50 gallons for a mated pair and 100 gallons for a small group.
Hardiness: Easy
Aggressiveness: Peaceful but can be aggressive toward other damsel.
Reef Compatibility: Excellent
Distribution: Western Indian Ocean: East Africa (south to Durban) to Maldives
Diet: Omnivore. Feed mostly on plankton in the wild. In captivity, it will accept most dried or frozen food. Feed once a day.

Additional information:
Pomacentrus caeruleus , also known as Caerulean damsel is from the Western Indian Ocean where it inhabits lagoons and outer reef slopes, usually over rubble near base of reefs at depths of 5 to 65 feet.

The body is dark blue with yellow on the caudal and lower part of the body.

The ideal aquarium should have plenty of live rock and ample place to swim. Temperature should be at 73°F to 81°F.
