REVIEW
These can be an alternative for those who cannot afford an expensive refractometer. I have two of these and they all give me different readings of the same water. It’s really hit or miss with these things, some will be accurate, some won’t. Some will get a different reading in each test (with the same refractometer).
It’s is an accident waiting to happen. When you think at all the money we put in our tanks, I think it’s worth a good refractometer or an electronic salinity monitor.

For best results: Fill slowly to eliminate bubbles and rinse them out after each use.
