REVIEW
I run an aquarium maintenance business in a small town in the canadian arctic where the sun shine days and nights in summer. From June to August, people call me every weeks to help them fix green water problems so I need a good UV sterilizer.
I tried a few brand but I think this one is the one I’ll keep for a long while (I have the 5 watt model). At first I was a little worry about its capacity to handle tanks from 10-75 gallons. Will it still do a great job when used in a 75 gallons tank? Well the answer is yes. It does an amazing job in smaller tank and lots of power to handle to do the job even in tanks considered at the limit of its capacity.
I also tried it with what I consider the worst: a turtle tank with three adult specimens. I was in vacation and could not service that tank for a month so I decided to use my Helix Max. When I got back in town, the water was crystal clear (we usually can’t see through after one week without cleaning)!

I really like that UV sterilizer!
